Elephant Sanctuary Adventure — Batu Caves, Deerland Park & Kuala Gandah (10 Hours)

Prices are per vehicle for the complete 1-day tour package, including 10 hours of service. Prices are not per passenger. Meals, Deerland Park entry fees and activity fees are not included and are paid separately by customers.

What’s Included & Pickup Details

Included: Private transport with a driver, tolls, parking and fuel.
Pickup and return: The listed prices cover pickup within Kuala Lumpur or the Klang Valley, sightseeing at Batu Caves, Deerland Park (Lanchang) and the National Elephant Conservation Centre (Kuala Gandah), and return drop-off at a Kuala Lumpur or Klang Valley hotel.
Airport and other locations: Airport pickups and pickups or drop-offs outside Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley are quoted separately. Please provide your exact locations when requesting a quotation.
Tour duration: The package includes 10 hours from the agreed pickup time until final drop-off. This includes the journey to Pahang and back, sightseeing, meal stops and delays caused by traffic congestion or severe rain.
Not included: Meals, Deerland Park entry fee, activity fees and the optional nature guide at the elephant centre (RM 50 per guide, up to 12 visitors). Customers pay for these separately. Optional tour guide services cost extra.

Attraction Notes

Batu Caves: Entry to the main temple cave is free.
Deerland Park: Closed on Fridays. Advance reservation is required.
National Elephant Conservation Centre: Entry is free. Elephant feeding, bathing and the documentary depend on the centre’s daily arrangements, weather and river conditions. Elephant riding is not permitted and the elephant show is currently suspended.
All visiting times are estimates and may change due to traffic and weather. Advance confirmation of the attractions is required.

Optional Tour Guide Services

To enhance your visit with detailed commentary on each tourist spot, guide services are available upon request:

Mandarin-speaking guide: RM 400 per day
English-speaking guide: RM 450 per day
Japanese-speaking guide: RM 600 per day
Vietnamese Speaking Guide : RM 500 per day

Alternatively, we offer a driver-only option where the driver will take you directly to the designated tourist locations, and passengers will be responsible for navigating and exploring the sites themselves.

Tour Duration & Additional Time

The Batu Caves, Deerland Park and Kuala Gandah elephant day tour includes 10 hours of service, measured from the agreed pickup time until final drop-off.

This includes the journey to Pahang and back, sightseeing, meal stops and delays caused by traffic congestion or severe rain.

After 10 hours, additional time is charged for each completed 30-minute block:

MPV: RM 30 per completed 30 minutes.
10 seat van and 16 seat van: RM 35 per completed 30 minutes.
Toyota Alphard: RM 60 per completed 30 minutes.
40 seat bus: RM 75 per completed 30 minutes.
With guide service: add RM 10 per completed 30 minutes.

Less than 30 minutes of additional time is not charged. For example (MPV):

10 hours 15 minutes: No additional charge.
10 hours 30 minutes: RM 30.
11 hours: RM 60.

Public Holiday & Eve Surcharge

A 20% surcharge applies to this day tour when the departure date falls on a Malaysian nationwide public holiday or a nationwide public holiday eve.
